A beautiful setting with views onto wooded hills, you feel that you are in the middle of the country although only a few minutes from the motorway. There is a charming garden with lots of beautiful, scented old-fashioned roses. The Villa is an old bulding which has been lovingly restored to a high standard in a traditional style and furnished with well-polished antiques. Frederico and his staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Unfortunately it is not always warm and sunny in Tuscany, and we were particularly unfortunate with the weather. It was too cold and rainy to spend much time sitting on the terrace and we would have liked to relax with a book in the sitting room. The antique chairs/sofas were not very comfortable and they were not grouped for easy conversation. The lighting for reading was poor. While the wealth of antiques added to the character of the Villa, the effect was cluttered. As an old building there are a lot of stairs throughout, which challenged my elderly companions.

The owners are extremely friendly and flexible. We like the cosy fireplace in the common area. This hotel is very different from the usual city hotels. It is located in the countryside and it is refreshing to stay here, away from the city area. This hotel is located abt 20 mins away from the Mall and 30 mins from the Prada warehouse. Good for shoppers!

Villa Rigacci is situated in an idyllic setting among the hills near Florence. We stayed twice and on both occasions the owners and staff made my wife and I very welcome. The room was just right , the outside setting for dinner ideal and food that was both imaginative and well served. Thanks for two great stays.

On our second stay the bathroom did not have a shower curtain which results in water all over the floor.

We had a delightful stay at Villa Rigacci. The staff made us feel welcome and provided helpful directions and tips. Our room was clean and decorated in a charming Tuscan style. The breakfast buffet showcased delicious, locally sourced products. The on-site restaurant offered fantastic meals, but there were also other options nearby. We enjoyed relaxing by the well-maintained pool after days of sightseeing. The strong wifi signal was a bonus. This villa provided an authentic, intimate, and relaxing experience in the beautiful Chianti region.

We were greeted by the owners who were wonderful and helpful. We walked through to the beautiful country farm house lounge where a roaring log fire was waiting for us to sit beside with a glass of wine. The hotel is beautiful and the view of the surrounding coutryside from our bedroom window was breathtaking. A relaxing , informal , large converted farm house in a beautiful setting. Don't be put off by the entrance between a row of houses. The grounds open out as you drive towards the hotel itself. Brilliant , we really want to go back for a longer stay in the very near future.

We could fault very little. The only comment would be that it would be good to have tea making facilities in the room , but the owners were happy to make us tea whenever we asked.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Tuscany, with easy access to Florence, Siena, and other attractions. The rooms were recently renovated and had modern comforts. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service and the food was outstanding.

There were no negative aspects to my experience at the hotel.

I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the range of facilities available here. The pool and private parking were really convenient. Also, the hotel's location in the field meant that I could easily drive down the center of Italy and reach any restaurant in big cities such as Florence. Moreover, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with fresh, local products.

Villa Rigacci lived up to its promise on the website. It is a lovely building in relaxng grounds, an excellent location, and very friendly staff. A short drive to the railway (always supplied by the management) andit's 30 minutes to Florence.

It may have benefitted from a varying menu, and it probably is not suitable for young children.
